Information
Form for the new State Council Directory 2008-2009
form was designed for acquiring Council information but
will work for Assemblies and Auxiliaries as well. We publish all the
information for the Councils but only publish the president’s contact
information for Auxiliaries and the Faithful Navigator’s contact
information for Assemblies. We also publish the meeting location address
and meeting day/night and times for Auxiliaries and Assemblies if we can
get it.
For Councils and Assemblies, please be aware that this
form contains information that is not included in your Forms 185 and 186
that are supplied to the Supreme Council. Please complete this form and
send it to me with a copy to Maurice Dupont, State Deputy Elect, as soon
as the information is available. We are aware that some Councils will
not hold elections until late June. We ask that once your election is
held that you complete and submit this information immediately so that
we can finish compiling all the data and have it printed and ready for
distribution at the July State Council Meeting to be held in Montgomery.
Every year I am quizzed about why I have a place for the spouse of the
Chaplain. Some councils have deacons as their Chaplain and some have lay
members as their Chaplain, so it is possible, although not probable,
that a Chaplain can have a spouse.
